Freelance Marketing Assistant

We’re growing rapidly so we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic freelance marketing assistant, on a part time freelance basis for one day per week. As the business grows there may be opportunity of increased hours and to become part of the team.

Are you the freelance marketing assistant we’re looking for?

We’re really keen to give someone hands on insight and experience working on a fast moving marketing environment, so we offer a great salary to the right person. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a start in a marketing career or anyone looking to get back into the industry on a part-time basis.

Above all else, we are looking for someone with the same ethos as The Marketing Optimist, we pride ourselves on being very down to earth, collaborative and fun. Our clients are varied and interesting and the projects we help with are fast moving and very involved.

  • Passionate about marketing with lots of enthusiasm to learn
  • Experience of social media Linkedin, Facebook and Twitter marketing ideally using Hootsuite
  • Knowledge of WordPress and other content management systems
  • Creative thinker who can act fast and implement ideas
  • Experience of Google Analytics
  • SEO experience

The person we’re looking for will need to be based in Leeds, have their own laptop and mobile. The working days are flexible as is where the work is completed, we only care about delivering high quality work.
