Get to the Point 4th Edition

By: Richard Michie

While most people are slowing down, The Marketing Optimist are gearing up for 2024. So we are really pleased to announce the 4th Edition of Get to the Point will be held on 19th March Santander Work Cafe, Leeds!

If you’ve not come across Get to the Point before, there are three simple rules that help it stand out from other speed-presenting events you might have come across before.

  1. Each speaker has just 20 slides
  2. Each slide changes automatically after 15 seconds. We set the timing so the speaker has no control over when they change.
  3. No SALES PITCHES. This rule means that you’re never going to hear someone sell their latest software or revolutionary face cream!

To give you a flavour here’s a clip video of what happened at the last Get to the Point.

Get to the Point gives a different perspective

These rules mean that our speakers really have to focus their talks, cut out the waffle and get to the point. It engenders storytelling and makes the talks, not just interesting, but fun too.

We have 40 free tickets for the event, which if last time is anything to go by, are bound to go fast!
