On 2 February, in Leeds, we ran ‘Get to the Point 2.0.’
Seven brave soles took up the challenge to talk about any subject they liked for 5 minutes, using 20 slides, each changing every 15 seconds.
Just like the first Get to the Point, which ran last year as part of Leeds Digital Festival, all the talks were diverse, really interesting and definitely not the type of presentations you’d normally expect at a “corporate” networking event.
Talks covered the history of The Sex Pistols, the benefits of kissing, coffee shops and printing, professional northerners, life lessons and how to take care of ‘you’. We hope you enjoy them as much as we did.
Supporting Simon on the Streets
On the night we managed to raise £230 for Simon on the Streets, a charity that helps the homeless of West Yorkshire through ticket sales, we’re still adding up how much was collected on the evening.
