We are one of the top 10 Marketing Agencies in the North!

By: Richard Michie

I’m so proud to say that The Marketing Optimist is now, according to the lovely people at Prolific North, one of the top 10 Marketing Agencies in the North of England!

We’ve come a long way in the last 5 years from starting the business with just one person, me, in February 2016 and going Ltd in May that year. I now have a great team of marketers, Chris, Georgia and Annie as well as a host of hand-picked freelance specialists who have helped drive The Marketing Optimist forward in a really short time.

Although we didn’t win, boo, to be included in a very strong line-up of 10 other well established small marketing agencies in the North, pleases me no end. I’m really proud of the work we do for our clients and of how we represent ourselves.

Punching above our weight

You’d think a small agency would be a limited number or employees, up to 10 people seems reasonable. But some of the agencies we competed against have up to 100 members of staff and have been in business a lot longer than The Marketing Optimist, not that age matters.

And the fact that this is an award based on Marketing Agencies in the North which, as a proud northerner, adds and extra nice touch to it for me.

Also we brush up quite nicely don’t we.
